Group Support Programmes / Workshops

Where larger numbers of staff are being released, Group Support may be a better alternative.

Our outplacement support is based upon Consultancy time rather than per person; resulting in cost savings whilst not sacrificing on the quality and effectiveness of our help and guidance.

Typical group support would include a combination of workshop seminars and 1-2-1 CV guidance. This can be enhanced further by providing long term telephone support or in our running a site based Job Shop (see below).

Individuals are more concerned about how good their own CV is... and prefer individual support rather than attending a CV workshop.

We therefore recommend providing additional 1-2-1 support ranging from 1 to 2 hours to each workshop attendee.

In two hours working on a 1-2-1 basis our Consultant can help start to write from scratch or provide CV critique. It also allows us to provide more specific tailored job search support; review and provide feedback on application forms; or help someone start to prepare answers for an interview. Being ‘open format’ the time may alternatively be used for advice on other areas such as self employment.

Job Shops / Active Marketing

HtR Outplacement can also setting up and run Job Shops, and actively market individuals within an area by contacting other employers in order to try and identify suitable vacancies.

Internet Based Group Support
