Group Workshops

Outplacement workshops are highly effective at delivering to large groups key and vital support. We have developed a number of workshop models to cater for differing client needs (workshop content is listed at the bottom of this page). Read Customer Feedback

Job Seeker Full Day Workshop € 685 + VAT (total cost)

Accommodating 10 people, we have a highly effective 1 day workshop that not only covers CV Guidance, Job Search Advice and Interview Preparation, it also provides 1-2-1 individual support during the day when attendees can receive personal CV Critique / CV Guidance. Often our advice is for CV’s to be altered, and we include post workshop remote support by our Consultant to each attendee, ensuring they end up with a ‘fit for purpose’ CV or CV’s. This model has been used now for several years with excellent feedback and results; by combining the CV guidance with remote CV support effective CV’s are produced. Note - charge based on client site delivery.

Job Seeker Half Day Workshops + 1-2-1 Support Group Training03

Splitting the workshop into two can be less disruptive to a business where large numbers are leaving an organisation. Delivering 2 workshops per day, but to different groups of people: Workshop 1 would include CV Writing and Job Search;  Workshop 2 Interview Preparation. We would recommend providing individual CV support to each person attending a workshop at a later date. Please contact us on the numbers below for information on cost etc.

1-2-1 Support (in support of a Workshop)

In one or two hours working on a 1-2-1 basis our Consultant can help write from scratch a CV or guide on Self Employment; Transferable Skills; Retirement Planning; or help prepare specific examples for potential interview questions. Even help complete an application form. Being ‘open format’ the time may be used as the person requires.

Telephone Support - workshop attendees

To further enhance our support to employees attending a Job Seeker Workshop we can for an additional cost provide telephone support over a 3 month; 6 month; or 12 month basis.

Self Employment Workshop

The Self Employment Workshop covers standard areas such as trading status; company formation (CRO); tax; insurance and legal requirement. Half the 1 day workshop focusses heavily upon traditional marketing and includes in-depth technology and e-marketing - both key areas that can help a business flourish.

Handling an Assessment Centre Workshop - €1,650 + VAT

Our workshop allows a group of people likely to attend an assessment centre (as part of the recruitment process) to gain valuable insight into the structure, expectations, and to experience exercises used in such events. The first part of the day is spent on how to approach assessment centre events; the majority of the day allowing then to partake in exercises such as: Business Strategy Case Studies; In-Tray; Team Events; Role Play Exercises. The confidential feedback provided to each individual can prove invaluable. Cost is based upon how many attendees, typically a workshop for 10 people where two assessors / trainers are used would be £1,350 + VAT. Proprietary licensed materials are used that increases the event delivery costs.

Client Site Job Shops / Active Marketing

HtR Outplacement can also setting up and run Job Shops, and actively market individuals within an area by contacting other employers in order to try and identify suitable vacancies.
